stuck in a never-ending school hallway, the fluorescent lights buzzing overhead; it’s the last class of the day, but the walls seem to stretch farther than usual, the lockers blending into one another, like a maze with no end. the sounds of distant chatter and school bells fade as you walk, each step heavier than the last.walking down the dimly lit street, you notice that there seems to be a concert happening in the distance. you pause in your tracks to take a moment and let the loud music swallow you whole. recognizing the familiar tune, it dawns on you that its a nirvana concert.
New years eve

taking a glimpse at your phone you glance at the date; December 31st, 1993 and walk home with a heavy feeling in your heart.

you feel weird...like everythings a blur. your memories feel glued together, youre unable to remember what happened and what didnt.
but as you look down at your phone, blaring with text messages, you regain consciousness. this is real, and its your birthday. did you forget?

hey vance, its probably been more than 3 years since we both met, I'm surprised how much time passed. We went from friends to strangers to friends again. I lost and gained alot of friends, but, you're the only one that remained here with me. Friends came and go but you remained, you were always there for me at my lowest, and I genuinely appreciate that, the times we talked, argued, and would joke around. I remember them all and I cherish them so much, when I was feeling down, or when I was sad and needed to open up to someone. You were the one that would somehow always cheer me up, I'd always put up a fake persona and I eventually didn't really know who I was. But, when I was around you, I found myself. Thank you so much for everything Vance, it may seem small or insignificant to you, and that's fine, but always know that you really made my life alot better. Thank you so much for being there for me all this time.

thank you for playing vance, i do hope it all made sense in a way! i tried creating a cool concept, i got inspired by a horror game "fears to fathom", with the writing tecnique; putting your "memory" scenario in first person. hope it wasnt too awkward GET OUT. I SWEAR THE IDEA WAS MUCH COOLER IN MY HEAD.
